Last year’s Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation Scientific Expedition in Bermuda continues to pay off. Several of the tigers that were tagged during the August ’09 trip are still being tracked today via satellite tags.
This is an ongoing, collaborative study between the GHOF, the Guy Harvey Research Institute and the Bermuda Shark Project. The goal of this project is to get enough animals tracked so we can firmly establish their long-term migratory patterns in the North Atlantic. The team is back in Bermuda now, so continue to check my blog for more updates, including new photos.
