The Ultimate Fishing Boat!

Well, another show is in the books! Thanks to everyone that visited with us at the 2010 Miami International Boat Show last week. We had an incredible week and really appreciated seeing everyone at the Guy Harvey Artist Pavilion.

This was our largest exhibit ever at the Miami show. The Guy Harvey licensees were well represented and I would like to thank all of our partners for supporting our efforts. We also had the new “Peer Gynt 26 – Guy Harvey Edition” custom fishing boat at the show. The response to the boat’s design and craftsmanship was phenomenal – thanks for all the kind words.

(For more photos of the Ultimate Fishing Boat, visit the “Peer Gynt 26 – Guy Harvey Series” photo album).

Many of you have asked about the availability of the boat. The PG26 is being custom-built by international yacht manufacturer Peer Gynt USA. Joe Ierna and crew have done a fabulous job building the ultimate fishing boat and we are extremely excited about this new venture. But, for now there is just one place to get this particular PG26 – and that’s from the Guy Harvey Ocean Foundation.

The GHOF is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win the boat, which is valued at $125,000. Only 5,000 tickets will be sold. I will be drawing the winning ticket at the 3rd Annual GHOF banquet on October 27, so contact the GHOF today while there are still tickets available. All proceeds from the raffle will go towards funding the scientific and educational initiatives of the GHOF, so your support in this effort is greatly needed.

Please visit the GHOF web site to learn more about the foundation and how your $25 raffle ticket might put you in the captain’s chair of the “Peer Gynt 26 – Guy Harvey Series” boat. And, as always, thanks for your support of the GHOF and your commitment to the protection of our marine environment.

Cheers!
